MiKi got hit

MiKi got hit

A car hit me at a 90 degrees and the impact made me swerve onto another car that was next to me. A three car accident. It happened so fast. I'm glad no one was hurt. I'm glad I was able to drive MiKi home and well enough to post some photos on
flickr. I just finished making a claim at my insurance. Can't take MiKi into the shop 'til Monday. My neck, shoudlers and back are beginning to hurt. Ohhh... I'm really going to feel this when I wake up in the morning.
I'm sorry Miki. Thanks for protecting me. Thank you God for protecting everyone from being injured.

Stuck in LA traffic

Stuck in LA traffic, heading in to Koreatown. My iPod beacon on. Going 2 MPH. Cramping in between clutch and gas. It's all worth it because a Korean BBQ buffet is waiting for me at the end of the journey.

Protest Traffic

The other day, they had an organized demonstration around the Federal building on Wilshire and Veteran, closing off several blocks around it. I had to go to my UCLA Extension class which is on campus. I decided the best way to get home was to take Beverly Glen from work (Century City) and loop around to Sunset.

I guess everybody else had the same warning or came to the same solution, because I was sitting there forever. I got so bored, I entertained myself with the lights reflecting off the bumper of the care in front of me. I started to read the vanity plate (Harvard University) and contemplated what major the driver had gradated with and how successful he was to be driving a Porsche Cayenne. I was sitting there for a long time so I took my camera out of my bag (never leave home without it) and took a photo for good measure. It's not good enough to post on flickr but it's a kew visual ad for blogging, I suppose.
