Slow Down or I'll Squeak
MiKi has a new passenger and travel buddy. His name is Kiccoro, the forest creature; mascot of the 2005 Aichi Expo in Japan. He represents the vibrant youthful energy of nature to share with everyone he comes in contact with. He also squeaks everytime the ride gets a little bumpy. Which is good because it keep MiKi from driving so wildy.

MiKi substitute, PT
MiKi was in the shop getting new brake pads, shoe and window wipers. So being the dedicated employee that I am, I rented a car for the day. I figured as long as I have to get a rental, I might as well get something fun. So here's a picture of what it looks like driving around in the Chryler PT Cruiser.

MiKi's second booboo
The great thing about having run-flat tires are you don't have to carry a spare tire and you can go close to 50 miles after tearing a huge gash like this. This the second time this has happened. The tire guys said it was probably due to pot holes on the streets. Stupid LA streets. We have the worst streets in LA. Where does all the tax money for public works go to other than to build that ginormous Cal Trans headquarters in downtown? I pay my taxes. Thanks to the crappy road conditions, it costed me $315 for another shoe for MiKi. Yeah, MiKi has very expensive taste when it comes to shoes. A comment from a guy who works at Davis Brothers Tires, "You need to open a savings account for your tires."
